Four Hawks
By
John I. Blair
Four hawks flung in a fleecy sky,
Darting and wheeling,
Flipping their flight,
Seemingly there
Just for the joy.
I don’t ask why
They’re whirling in air,
Dazzling my eye,
Warming my heart;
The sight is enough.
