A Ballgame

Life's a ballgame
In many ways
Sometimes rained out,
Or not many plays.

Whether you're pitching
Or taking a few,
The crowd doesn't know
Just what you'll do.

Remember you're not in this
All on your own-
There's the rest of the team
So don't pout or moan.

And if there is some way
Just have a little fun-
While you're waiting your turn,
Get ready to shine in the sun.

Then let's hear the crowd roar
While you circle the bases
And make it home smiling
'Cause you're one of life's aces.
