Thinking Out Loud

By Gerard Meister

Lately I've been very involved in finishing my "Tough Times Tougher People" memoir. Accordingly, I have attached the book cover (art work by my grandson Max) for your perusal. My daughter Ellen (the book's Editor-in-Chief) prepared the galleys she sent to the publisher, and we are working with the publisher (Lu Lu) for a modus operandi which would enable a reader to download a copy or two at a moderate price.

Editor's Note: Meanwhile, life goes on for the author who is 'practicing retirement' in Boca Raton, where he shared some true life tales with a group there recently. This story-telling of a poignant incident of his father with Eleanor Roosevelt, can be seen and heard via YouTube.com where there are five segments of varying length: #1 of 9.02 minutes; #2 of 7.28; #3 of 6.56; #4 of 2.24 and this is ended with mike problems; and #5 of 2.14 to finish the tale. This is possibly the final choice for the cover of his memoir.
