Dear Lord, I Have Amends

Lord, I have many amends I want to make to you,
For the sins, you and I know that I’ve done or will do.

When I am desperate, I seem to need you even more,
But after I recover, I go back to living like I was before!

Lord, I know you are with me in the good times too,
But I often take the credit when I know it was you.

I know that I can grow closer to you every day,
By reading the Bible, living better and pray!

So, Lord please forgive me for the bad things I do,
And help me to give you the credit where it’s due.

Amen
